   These girls were my friends too. For a while. Along with a few other tragic, artistically frustrated ladies. The boys in their graduating class were pretty self destructive, too. A few mental health tips along the way might have kept them functional, and alive, for a bit longer so they could make more . . .uh . . .art. Meds?
   It’s complicated and historical and I don’t want to talk about it. Thank God for Marge Simpson. She’s chipper enough. (Simpsons Complete Fifth Season, Twentieth Century Fox Entertainment, c. 1993 and 1994.)
